Two Men Charged With Trespassing After Climbing A Tower At METALLICA’s Perth Show

You know how some major concerts generally have those giant towers to do… whatever they’re there to do? Yeah, don’t climb those. Two dudes at Metallica‘s show on November 1 at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia learned that the hard way.

According to a report from News.com.au, a 20-year-old man from Carey Park and a 23-year-old man from Australind climbed the tower mid-show until they were ordered down by police. Both men were subsequently arrested and charged with a trespass offense.

“It will be alleged the men climbed up the central tower inside the bowl at the Metallica concert held at Optus Stadium on Saturday,” a Western Australia Police spokesperson said, according to News.com.au. Which I believe is a reference to the alleged charges, but worded weird.
