Sony Finally Removes OnlyFans Game But Won’t Touch Steam Rip-Offs

“Fame has never been this hands-on.” That’s the tagline for OF Model Simulator 2025, a visual novel RPG featuring nearly naked women which until recently appeared to be for sale on the PlayStation Store for just $15. The announcement page remains but the option to buy has been removed. It’s unclear if that’s in response to players’ ongoing complaints about Sony’s slop-filled digital storefront or because of other reasons.

What exactly do you do in OF Model Simulator 2025? Since it’s no longer available for purchase I can’t say for sure. The PSN listing (via PlayStationLifeStyle) promises a “rages to riches” adventure where you maximize your clout by customizing your model, snapping pics, and managing a series of VIP interactions, travel adventures and “body enhancements.” It’s unclear if there’s actually any explicit material in the game or it’s all just lacy pajamas and innuendo.

Who is approving this kind of crap for the PlayStation Store?

Whether it’s a cheesy asset-flip sex game or a bold new reimagining of Pokémon Snap is not for me to say, but the game has become another lightning rod for PlayStation’s moderation woes. On a platform where tools for game discovery are still practically nonexistent, every junk listing is pushing some other creation further down the page.

PSN has turned into a doujin site,” joked one player on X while sharing listings for Sex Shop Simulator Supermarket (3.46 out of 5 stars) and Sex Shop Simulator (only 2.68 out of 5 stars). “How could all these gems come out in 2025 without us hearing about them?” Another was more critical, listing all of the slop games they had to navigate past while looking for Dreams of Another, the latest game from the multimedia artist Tomohisa “Baiyon” Kuramitsu best known for PixelJunk Eden

Here is a short list of games I had to browse through on PSN before I found this game

Schedule I – Drug Dealer
Blablublas Battle Royale Shooter
Motel Business Simulator
OF Model Simulator 2025
The Heart of Influencer

Megabonk Smash is the latest PSN rip-off

Sex game slop is just part of the discontent. The flood of games trying to take advantage of breakout hits on Steam remains a much bigger issue. Anytime a PC game goes viral, like Lethal Company or A Game About Digging A Hole, you get bottom feeders trying to confuse players with copycat listings on PSN. Sometimes the games even go up for sale and can actually make money.

That’s the case with Megabonk Smash, a clear rip-off of Megabonk, this year’s recent 3D riff on Vampire Survivors. At $10 a download, Megabonk Smash‘s description reads, “a fast-paced pixel roguelike action game where you battle endless waves of enemies, collect glowing crystals, upgrade your abilities, and face brutal bosses in an isolated arena of chaos.” It’s just a copycat all the way down, which is why PSN users have been trying to “downvote” it with one-star reviews.

The game is listed as being made by Jay Marksman trading as GamesMM Studios. What else has that account published on PSN? Cozy Climbing Game, an obvious rip-off of the viral “friendslop” (complimentary) climbing sim on PC called Peak. That game’s also been downvoted but remains up for sale for $7 on the PlayStation Store.

Steam’s track record of moderation is far from stellar. It’s currently letting credit card companies dictate its guidelines. But it at least has the excuse of publishing over ten thousand game listings a year. PSN, on the other hand, only puts up a few dozen games a week at most. Given how central the storefront is to Sony’s bottom-line, its mega-bonkers how poorly it’s still curated.

“We hope you’ve enjoyed the features we’ve introduced to PlayStation Store during the PS5 console generation,” the company wrote in August. “Keep an eye out for even more improvements that we’ll be working on to continue evolving the player experience.” Fans are not holding their breath.
