Geologist and Deakin — aka one-half of Animal Collective — did the original soundtrack to Jetty, Sam Fleischner’s new documentary about the reconstruction of New York City’s Rockaway Beach following Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The LP will be available to purchase on vinyl in April, but you can stream it now.
Fleischner has directed music videos for Animal Collective’s Panda Bear, as well as MGMT and Santigold, but Jetty is his latest feature-length project. The full thing is available to watch here, and below, you can see a snippet of the documentary as well as stream the full soundtrack.
