We recently named Fine Glindvad Jensen aka Fine one of 2025’s Best New Artists. Today she continues to prove us right with a new single called “Moment.” It follows the series of strong tracks she’s released this year — “Run,” “Portal,” “I Could” — after her debut album Rocky Top Ballads from last year.
“Moment” opens with wilted guitar plucks. They sound slightly drunk, the kind of drunk that makes you melancholic and tired. “There’s something strange today/ I don’t know what to say,” Fine sings on the opening verse. Her voice is sweet but somewhat spectral, as if she’d fit right in the Twin Peaks universe. At one point Glindvad Jensen gets swept up in the situation, reaching out to someone from her past: “Out in the open, making good times/ Sometimes I call you up in the moment.” The song saunters on with its contemplative country swing.
