Geese have been celebrating their critically acclaimed new album Getting Killed with a tour while collecting cosigns from greats like Patti Smith and Nick Cave. Last night the rising rockers broke out “Killing My Borrowed Time” from their 2023 4D Country EP.
The tour concluded with two sold-out hometown shows at the Brooklyn Paramount, though they were recently added to the Camp Flog Gnaw lineup and are slated to play today. The band dedicated “Trinidad” to the late Waylon Jennings. They also met the one and only Mr. Met at the final tour stop last night, and they told Interview Magazine about their love for the baseball team, with Dominic DiGesu sharing the controversial take:
Billionaires shouldn’t exist, first and foremost. But Steve Cohen can exist because he’s putting all of his money towards the Mets. If there are going to be billionaires in the world, the Mets are the only thing worth funding, in my opinion. Steve Cohen could do whatever he wants with his money as long as it’s put towards the Mets. All the other billionaires should just die.
