Matty Healy’s favorite artist is James Taylor — at least according to his fiancée Gabbriette, who surprised the 1975 frontman with tickets to see the singer-songwriter back in September. On that tour, Taylor’s supporting act was Tiny Habits, a Boston-based folk-pop trio who went viral for their cover of the 1975’s “Somebody Else” a few years ago. Now, in a full-circle moment, Tiny Habits are covering James Taylor with (a newly-mohawked) Healy.
Healy posted a TIkTok yesterday of him covering Taylor’s 1968 classic “Carolina In My Mind” at home with Tiny Habits, which sounds nice, and you can listen to it yourself below.
