In mid-December 2025, a video (archived) circulated online that claimed to show a Taylor Swift “Eras Tour”-themed ride at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The video, posted on TikTok, appeared to show a woman on a ride that showed Swift in costumes from “The Eras Tour.” The caption read, “Taylor Swift The Eras Ride at Disney World! Candy explores a concert-style attraction inspired by the evolution of a global pop icon.”

Speculation about a new Taylor Swift-themed ride at Disney also circulated on Threads (archived) and X (archived).
Snopes previously reported on this exact rumor, though without the video, in 2023. At that time, the claim came from the satirical site Mouse Trap News.
This time around, the video also was fake, as evidenced by the Sora watermark that appeared around six seconds into the footage. Sora is a generative artificial intelligence model from OpenAI that makes realistic-looking videos. The model embeds a visible watermark on all its videos, and, according to OpenAI, also leaves traces in its products’ metadata that allow AI-detection software to identify Sora-generated videos and trace them back to the model.
Aside from the watermark, the video showed other signs of AI use. Three different clips of Swift performing in various outfits showed the artist with a distorted face. The lettering behind the video presenter misspelled “Inspired” at the start and end of the video and used symbols that were not letters at the end of the video.
Though we found no reputable reports (archived, archived, archived, archived) that Disney had opened a Taylor Swift-themed ride in Florida at the time of this writing, Walt Disney World was hosting an exhibit of three costumes worn by Swift during “The Eras Tour.” Additionally, Disney+, the entertainment giant’s streaming platform, was streaming “The End of an Era,” a six-part docuseries about Swift’s tour.
Disney-themed news sites reported that demand had been so high to see Swift’s costumes on display at Disney World that the park had expanded the exhibit’s daily opening times. Snopes had not independently verified this claim.
Snopes has reported extensively on claims surrounding Swift, including a very persistent one that the singer was pregnant.
