GWAR And INSANE CLOWN POSSE Face Off On Hot Ones Versus, SHAGGY 2 DOPE Addresses FRED DURST Dropkick Incident

Gwar and Insane Clown Posse have gone head-to-head in a newly released episode of Hot Ones Versus, arriving just in time for the holidays. The episode pits Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope against Gwar‘s Blöthar the Berserker and Balsac The Jaws Of Death in a gauntlet of questions and physical challenges, where wrong answers are punished with increasingly brutal wings drenched in The Last Dab hot sauce.

Among the more memorable moments, Shaggy 2 Dope was asked about his infamous 2018 onstage dropkick attempt aimed at Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durs, which was an incident that quickly went viral and sparked brief tension between the two camps.

Reflecting on the moment now, Shaggy didn’t shy away from owning it: “Well, alcohol was involved. That was done as a work — [a] wrestling work dropkick — I wasn’t actually trying to dropkick him for real. I don’t know why in my drunk brain, I just figured that he was also a wrestler and he’d know to ‘sell’ the move.

“He didn’t sell it… How he sold it was their security came out and choked me out onstage and dragged me out. I’ve apologized a million times over since. I feel like a dumbass of course for doing that shit.”

The incident occurred on October 6, 2018, during Rock Allegiance in New Jersey. Limp Bizkit had just finished their cover of George Michael‘s “Faith” when Shaggy rushed the stage and attempted a dropkick that narrowly missed Durst. Security immediately intervened, hauling Shaggy offstage as Durst mocked the situation from the mic.

While the moment briefly escalated into a mini-beef, it was later smoothed over, and Shaggy has repeatedly taken responsibility for the stunt in the years since.

Intergalactic legends Gwar are returning to destroy stages across the United States with the announcement of The Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour, a massive spring run featuring Soulfly as direct support and King Parrot opening every night.

The carnage kicks off March 19th in their adopted hometown of Richmond, VA, and rampages through April 29th, ending in Charlotte, NC. A complete list of dates is below. Get your tickets here.
