Mötley Crüe‘s Theatre Of Pain turns 40-years-old this year, alongside some either pretty classic records, and Mötley Crüe have decided to treat their fans like numerous other artists have been this year with a limited edition box-set of Theatre Of Pain.
Reportedly going to contain four separate vinyl alongside a 76-page hardcover book with live photos from the Theatre Of Pain tour. The main format the box set will be available as is vinyl. However, Mötley Crüe are also making sure that fans of CDs and streaming will be able to access the 40th-anniversary release (although streaming won’t see the live records or the demos).
- One remastered Theatre Of Pain album on vinyl
- Two never-before-released live albums on color vinyl
- One LP containing rare demos album on color vinyl
- And 76-page hardcover book featuring photos from “Theatre Of Pain” tour
Most notably, the rare demo LP which will only be available through the box sets will contain:
- “Home Sweet Home” (demo)
- “Smokin’ In The Boys Room” (demo – alternate guitar rough mix)
- “City Boy Blues” (demo)
- “Home Sweet Home” (demo – instrumental rough mix)
- “Keep Your Eye On The Money” (demo)
- “Tommy‘s Drum Piece From Cherokee Studio”
- “Hotter Than Hell” (demo for Louder Than Hell)
“Keep Your Eye On The Money” more specifically saw a lyric video released for the unreleased live version that won’t be available besides in the box-sets was released this past week. You can check it out on Mötley Crüe‘s YouTube, or below.
