Avenged Sevenfold has just announced a 16-date tour alongside Good Charlotte due to take place next summer throughout North America.
The announcement comes only a few short after the surprise drop of their newest song, “Magic,” for the newest Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 game, their contributions to the franchise not entirely shocking or innovative given the fact that they’ve already contributed to the Black Ops releases in 2011, 2012, and 2018.
Going off of unsurprising match-ups, at first glance, Good Charlotte and Avenged Sevenfold would be an unusual mix. But, beyond on the surface, the bands have been friends for decades, and it’s not too out of the realm of normal.
General on-sale tickets are due to be available on 12th December at 10 a.m. local, with pre-sale tickets available to the Avenged‘s Deathbats Club, A7X and Good Charlotte Early Access Ticketpass holders four days earlier on the 8th of December. There are to be two portals, one for Canadians, the other for Americans, and both will open at 7 a.m. PT and 10 a.m. ET on the 8th, and close the next day at 7 p.m. PT and 10 p.m. ET (9th December).
According to Live Nation, VIP packages will be available with both bands offering different options:
“AVENGED SEVENFOLD VIP PACKAGES: Avenged Sevenfold will offer two VIP experiences: a behind-the-scenes backstage tour that gives fans an inside look at the production of the show guided by a member of the crew, and an early-entry merchandise package featuring an exclusive collectible item and other venue perks.
GOOD CHARLOTTE VIP PACKAGES: Special VIP packages will also be available for superfans who are looking to get as close to the action as possible. Exclusive benefits include early entry to the floor for prime views of the show, a VIP-only Good Charlotte merchandise item, a VIP laminate featuring special Motel du Cap artwork created by Benji Madden, and other onsite benefits. Plus, VIPs will be able to vote to choose where to donate a portion of the VIP sales proceeds. For more info on VIP, fans can visit wearesuper.co/goodcharlotte.”
