Chris Martin is perhaps best known for the unpleasant surprise he sprung upon a couple who were illicitly attending a Coldplay concert together, but he loves gracing lovebirds with more welcome surprises. Back in 2022, Martin performed an engaged couple’s wedding dance song, 2014’s “A Sky Full Of Stars,” upon encountering them at a pub in Bath. Now he’s gone one step further by stunning newlyweds at their actual wedding last weekend.
In footage circulating online, Martin can be seen at a piano singing Coldplay’s 2024 song “All My Love” while they had their first dance at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in the English town of Rugeley. According to Metro, the groom’s mother reached out to Coldplay in hopes of securing a video greeting from the band, but Coldplay’s team replied, “We can do one better.”
Martin followed the pop-up wedding performance with a pop-up record store performance Tuesday in London. You can’t stop this man from popping up!
