Daegu, positioning itself as the heart of Korea’s innovation industry, took another step forward in showcasing its technological ambitions with the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2025 (FIX 2025). On October 23, the city hosted the FIX Innovation Awards ceremony at EXCO, recognizing 30 companies for breakthroughs in future mobility, robotics, AI, and ICT.

The event gathered around 100 attendees, including Daegu Deputy Mayor for Economy Sungjoo Hong, representatives from domestic and international media, award-winning companies, and members of the judging panel.
Now in its second year, the FIX Innovation Awards spotlight companies that are shaping the next wave of industrial transformation. The 2025 edition gained additional prestige, with 22% of the winners having previously earned global honors, including the CES Innovation Awards.
Recognizing the Best in Innovation
Nine companies received the Best of Innovation Award, highlighting cutting-edge advancements in multiple fields:
Autonomous A2Z – for developing the Level 4 autonomous vehicle “ROii”, advancing driverless mobility.
HL Robotics – for its autonomous parking robot “PARKY”, designed to optimize space and streamline vehicle parking.
Hanwha Corporation E&C Division – for creating the ceiling-mounted EV charging system “EV Air Station”, offering a new approach to electric vehicle infrastructure.
THN – for its 5.6G-based transparent antenna “Flexclear”, enabling flexible and efficient next-generation connectivity.
IMsystem – for its micro medical robot used in vascular interventional procedures, offering greater precision in minimally invasive surgeries.
A4LAB – for its surgical navigation system “XAVE AIR”, which enhances surgical accuracy using real-time imaging.
Withforce – for its wearable farming robot “Withforce A10”, promoting agricultural automation and reducing manual labor.
Mobinn – for its road safety control robot, which leverages semi-autonomous driving to improve traffic management.
Meissa – for its drone-based digital twin and AI solution, enabling data-driven decision-making in industrial environments.
Among the 21 FIX Innovation Awards Honorees, VisualCamp, Silla System. Korea Green Data, JUVIC, Airlab, AI for Pet, presented their technology at the press conference, hosted prior to the Award ceremony.

Awarded companies received not only recognition but also tangible support, including business management consulting from iM Bank, participation in IR pitching and VC networking sessions hosted by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, extra points for Plug and Play partnership programs, and discounted participation fees for next year’s FIX event.
Deputy Mayor Sungjoo Hong emphasized the growing impact of the awards, stating,
“This year’s FIX Innovation Awards elevated its status as a platform for discovering future innovation technologies, with many CES Innovation Award winners taking part. I hope the awarded companies will use this as a foundation to expand in both domestic and global markets, and that visitors will be able to directly experience the future of technological innovation through the exhibited works.”
As Daegu continues to position itself as a leader in Korea’s industrial transformation, the FIX Innovation Awards reaffirm the city’s role as a hub for emerging technologies and a launchpad for companies aiming to make a global impact.
