Fatboy Slim Shares Rolling Stones Mashup “Satisfaction Skank”: Listen

Records show that way back in 1998, during a set he was DJing in Ibiza, Fatboy Slim spun a track called “Satisfaction Skank” — a mashup of his big beat hit from that year, “Rockafeller Skank,” with the Rolling Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” He confirmed the track’s existence in a 2024 video interview saying it was at least 25 years old and was “possibly one of [his] greatest mashups.” But Fatboy Slim was never able to officially release the song, adding in that same interview: “There’s ongoing negotiations with the Rolling Stones. And Mick, if you’re watching this, call me and we can talk.” Fast forward to now, and — forgive me for this — they’ve worked it out on the remix.

“Satisfaction Skank” is officially out now, and you can listen to it below.

In somewhat related news, “Satisfaction” just so happens to be one of the five unisex fragrances the Rolling Stones released via their “Subversive Scents” line this year. Yes, the other four are also named after Stones songs. There are 14 more shopping days until Christmas if you care:
