After releasing 2022’s Sincere, Hater have been on a break. Now, the Scandinavian indie poppers are back and ready to rock with their new album Mosquito. The great lead single “This Guy?” is out now.
According to the band, “This Guy?” is a “quite confusing song.” Måns Leonartsson expounds, “I love the fact that the verse is complete weirdness and the chorus is clear as day.”
The lyrical mystery is alluring, but the sweeping guitars are the best part, and they only grow more impassioned as the song persists. Let it envelope you below.
