JOP From Fuerza Regida Talks ‘Don’t Fall in Love’ Fest

JOP brings his personal playlist to life with performances by Netón Vega, Óscar Maydon, Future, Snow tha Product and more at the “Don’t Fall in Love” festival in San Bernardino. Billboard brings you exclusive backstage interviews and the best on-stage moments! Did you go to the festival this weekend? Let us know!

JOP:

We named it “Don’t Fall in Love,” simple and straightforward, so you don’t fall in love, then. Don’t fall in love until you’re fifty, more or less. It’s eighty percent of my personal playlist. Every year those b-stards get tougher. We have a surprise with Travis Barker, yes.

Netón Vega:

I don’t know how to dance or anything, but I like it when I’m partying and stuff. But on stage, well, mostly I improvise. I get up there, depending on the vibe, I start dancing. It’s not like I have something rehearsed or anything.  This album, Delirium, is something new, it’s a new project. Uh, we’d never done anything like this, but we wanted to do something like this. Well, something with more energy than what we’re used to, but we’ll still stay true to what I’ve always done, to what my strength is, it’s my, it’s what I am.

Snow Tha Product:

The most important thing for me is to hold that Mexican flag high. So, I don’t give a f–k if there’s some Chicano person that’s like: “But I’m Chicano.” And I’m like: “Okay, cool.” And I’m Mexican-American and I’m here and I’m very proud of where I come from, and I’m always gonna speak up for people who can’t speak up.

Keep watching for more!
