Lenovo has officially unveiled the AI Glasses V1, a new generation of lightweight smart glasses that combine artificial intelligence with a minimalist design. Announced on November 2, the device stands out primarily for its ultra-lightweight build of only 38 grams, offering a comfortable experience similar to wearing regular eyewear without the bulk of high-tech components.
The Lenovo AI Glasses V1 feature a diffractive light waveguide resin display capable of reaching up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The lenses are ultra-thin, measuring just 1.8 mm, and provide a 15×11 mm field of view, maintaining image clarity even with small head movements. This ensures sharp visuals and a natural wearing experience, suitable for both professional and casual use.

The device integrates two microphones and two stereo speakers, enabling hands-free calls and high-quality sound output. One of the major highlights is Lenovo’s AI assistant, Tianxi, which responds to voice commands, provides real-time translation, and displays information directly within the user’s field of view. This makes the glasses a visual interpreter, similar to devices like the Ray-Ban Meta Display and Even G1, offering a blend of convenience and futuristic technology.
Another notable feature is the teleprompter mode, designed for content creators and presenters. When paired with Lenovo’s smart ring accessory, users can control scripts or slides without looking away from the audience. This setup is particularly useful for presentations, public speaking, or video production, offering a discreet interface.

On the side panel, touch controls allow users to manage calls, messages, and media content. The built-in AI navigation system also provides real-time visual and audio guidance, although this functionality currently supports Android smartphones only.
Battery performance varies by usage. The device supports fast charging, fully recharging in about 40 minutes, and offers up to 250 hours of standby time. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable connection and efficient performance.
