Post Malone has a history of falling down onstage. Over the summer he toppled off the edge of the stage while trying to cheers a fan at his Glendale, Arizona show, but he swiftly recovered; he couldn’t say the same after he fell through a stage trap door during a 2022 St. Louis show and bruised his ribs. (He also had a minor slip onstage in Orlando earlier this year, but that one was much less noticeable.) Last night in Guwahati, India, he fell onstage yet again. Post was coming down the steps to greet the audience during “Sunflower” when his bare foot slipped and he went down the remaining steps on his ass.
Security quickly picked Post up and he carried on saying hello to fans, apparently unharmed. He was holding a red Solo cup, but he didn’t seem drunk! I think the guy is just really clumsy, and the nature of his job means there are always hundreds of phone cameras pointed at him to capture evidence of each fall. Poor Posty. See that evidence below.
This Thursday Post Malone is taking a Saudi paycheck to perform at the government-funded Soundstorm Festival, with a lineup that also features Benson Boone, Halsey, Calvin Harris, the Kid Laroi, and Tyla. Here’s hoping he doesn’t fall there.
