In career terms, Post Malone is awfully agile. He managed to switch from rap-adjacent pop stardom to country-adjacent pop stardom, and if that’s an easy thing to do, then you try it. Unfortunately, Posty has not proven to be quite so agile in physical terms. Earlier this month, Post fell on his ass onstage, and not for the first time. More recently, he also fell on his wrist while livestreaming.
During a recent livestream, Post Malone attempted to backflip off of what appears to be a gaming chair. It did not go well. You need a stable base for something like that, but Post’s form suggests that he wouldn’t have stuck the landing even in the most ideal circumstances. Rather than backflipping, he just kind of falls backwards without even completing a quarter rotation. Then he gets up and says, “It was all right. I actually hurt my wrist.” Reader, it was not all right.
Fortunately, TMZ has preserved the footage of Post Malone’s livestream backflip fuckup for all eternity. Unfortunately, the footage is so low-quality that I couldn’t put a screenshot at the top of this blog post. You’ll just have to watch it for yourself below.

In less exciting Post Malone livestream news, the man recently announced his intention to release two studio albums in 2026. He said this during a Kick stream while playing I have no idea what video game. While talking to a game streamer guy, Post said, “Chances are, chat, we are getting two albums in 2026, if everything goes my way.” He meant Post Malone albums, not albums in general. Presumably, more than two albums will come out in 2026. I hope they do, anyway.
The Kick streamer guy asked Post Malone what genre those albums would be, and Post answered, “Little bit of everything, baby… I think folks will be happy. Well, I hope folks will be happy.” That’s a pretty measured answer. The streamer guy then asked Post if he would be happy, and Post said, “Fuck yeah, I’ma be happy! I’m getting the boys comin’ out for New Year’s. We’re gonna write. We’re gonna fuckin’, uh, write, record, get it all done.”
