We named Dearborn, MI marauders Prostitute a Band To Watch early this year on the strength of their 2024 debut album Attempted Martyr, which channels their experience as Arab Americans into incendiary Midwestern noise-rock. You know who else was watching these guys? Mute Records. The legendary British record label has signed Prostitute and will give Attempted Martyr its first global release in March.
Along with the news comes a video for “Mr. Dada,” an abridged version of album highlight “M. Dada,” which works great as a Prostitute primer for those just now jumping on board. Watch it below, where you’ll also find the band’s new European tour dates.
TOUR DATES:
Mute will reissue Attempted Martyr 3/13 on CD and in two vinyl editions – a limited Arabic edition on Lebanese sunburst vinyl exclusively
through Dinked, and a red vinyl edition. Pre-order those here.
