Last week, Swedish pop queen Robyn returned with “Dopamine,” her first new single in seven years. There’s been talk of a new Robyn album, though we don’t know anything concrete about that yet. We don’t know anything about a tour, either, though god knows that would rule. On Wednesday night, however, Robyn played her first proper live show in six years, and it included her first-ever performance of “Dopamine.”
Last night, Robyn played a 15-song set at LA’s Fonda Theatre as part of an event for Spotify and Acne Studios. (Last month, Robyn scored an Acne fashion show for Paris Fashion Week.) Robyn has given little one-off performances and made guest appearances during other people’s shows recently, but this was her first full set since she finished touring behind Honey in 2019.
