The Hunt is here to show you why they’re one of the sickest rising melodic death metal bands, thanks to their latest single “Adept”. The single comes alongside a music video directed by Thomas Mignone with assistant director Gabriel Connor.
On the song, The Hunt frontman Tony Rauser commented: “‘Adapt’ is about finding a path forward in desperate times. It’s a song for someone at their absolute lowest point. It’s meant to remind you that your spirit is strong, the wind will turn, and you will overcome.”
The single is the precursor to a forthcoming EP from the band, for which more will be revealed soon.
Formed in 2016, The Hunt is fronted by Rauser and features world class lead guitarist Cameron Stucky (Darkness Everywhere, Crepuscle, Sea in the Sky), Jacob Lauing (Phantom Code, ex-Terrestria) on drums and backing vocals, and Dan Saltzman (Illucinus, Fleshspoil) on bass.
