Last week we noted that Twin Peaks, the defunct Chicago rock band that has nothing to do with the David Lynch TV show, were teasing a reunion. They did indeed announce a pair of hometown shows Monday commemorating the 10th anniversary of their album Down In Heaven, but we were so busy relaunching our website that the news slipped past us. Fortunately, Twin Peaks have offered us a reprieve by announcing two more reunion shows today.
The band has already sold out of presale tickets for the first two shows, which are taking place May 14 and 15 at Thalia Hall, so they’re adding two more gigs on May 16 and 17 at the same venue. The presale for those ones already kicked off today, and you had to be signed up for Twin Peaks’ mailing list to receive the code for that sale. Fortunately, general sale for all four shows begins this Friday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. CT, so those who missed the presales still have a shot.

The first two Thalia Hall show presales sold out faster than two pigs going down a slide, so we sent some emails, did some math, begged a little and here you go: TWO MORE SHOWS! May 16 & 17.
So gather yourselves, steady your hand, text your group chat, and prepare your little ticket grabbing fingers for presale in 2 hours at 12pm — you’ll need a new presale code for access, so if you haven’t already, sign up for our email list to get it.

Anyways, here we are: 10 years of Down In Heaven. Can you believe it? I can’t. We’re all 56 years old now.
We’re beyond psyched to share that next May 2026, we’ll be getting together for a few special shows to mark the occasion, right here at Chicago’s own Thalia Hall.
